May 1st, 2003 Due to the rather rain-free spring to
date, tree pollen and outdoor mold levels have been higher than usual since
early April. Tree pollen patients
seem to be experiencing more eye symptoms than compared to recent years.
May 20th, 2003 Tree pollen levels have fallen to
moderate and low levels this week.
Grass pollen continues to climb and the peak “very high” grass pollen
level days are just ahead. Moderate
amounts of outdoor mold spores are seen and about average for this time of year.
June 4th, 2003
Tree pollen levels continue in the low range. Grass pollen is at it’s peak and yesterday a “very high” level greater than 200
pollen grains/cubic meter/24 hour average was reached. So far the grass pollen levels have been
similar to past years. Outdoor mold
spores are increasing with the damper weather.
